WinterPlace Park

So this past weekend we decided to brave to cold, embrace the sunshine and lack of precipitation and head  out on a hike. We went to WINTERplace in honor of the winter conditions. We had a good time. We didn't meet too many people on the trails, about 4 and all four had dogs with them. The other encounter we had was with 2 horses! So it was a nice day, and a nice easy trail. Long enough that the dogs were tired when we got home, but short enough that we weren't freezing. And the highlight of the trip for the pups was the dirt piles. Towards the back of the park there were huge dirt piles that the dogs LOVED running up and down and around. They had the greatest time!

Hopefully the Salisbury Dog Park will be opening up soon, but until then WinterPlace Park on Old Ocean City Road in Salisbury was a great little energy reducer.
